1. Cationic PAM
Cationic PAM is mainly used as flocculants and dewatering reagents for industry waste water and sewage; Retention aids and intensifier in paper making industry; Waste water treatment in pharmaceutical, leather making, printing and dyeing industry waste water treatment, and organizer in textile industry.

2. Amphoteric PAM
Amphoteric PAM is mainly used high difficult waste water treatment or sludge dewatering reagents in oil refining and chemical industry or papermaking industry.

3. Features: Nonionic PAM
Nonionic PAM is mainly used as flocculants with high selectivity in oil well fluid, and acidic waste water treatment.

4. Anionic PAM
Anionic PAM is mainly used in minerals selection, metallurgy, coal washing, food, steel, spinning and papermaking industry which involves separation of solid-liquid and waste water treatment. Anionic PAM can also be used for oil well and oil extraction in oil industry, and retention aids and intensifier in papermaking industry.

Application:
1) EOR fields: The types and capability of macromolecule and super-macromolecule adopted in the third oil extraction (EOR) of the oilfield:

2) Flocculant: Used widely for waste water treatment; Industry sewage treatment, especially the sewage with high density, bit suspending granules, such as, the sewage of steel factory, electroplating factory, it has advantages of low cost and no pollution, also can be used in paper-making etc.

3) Drilling mud chemicals: In oil field exploration and development and exploration of geology, water and coal, it is used as adhesive of well drilling mud raw materials, can improve the service life of drill bits, improve the drill speed and drilling footage, and reduce plug in replacing drill, and has prominent well slough preventing effect, and it can be used as fracturing fluid of oil fields or plugging agent of controlling profile and plugging water.
