HCPE - High Chlorinated Polyethylene
High Chlorinated Polyethylene is chlorinated polyethylene with high content chlorine(more than 61%), has another name called HCPE resin. It is white powder or granule. Its relative density is 1.35 - 1.45, apparent density is 0.4 - 0.5g/cm3, thermal discomposition temperature is more than 130 degree celsius, and thermal stability time is more than 3 minutes(under 180 degree celsius).
High Chlorinated Polyethylene has many good properties: weather resistance, ozone resistance, heat aging resistance, fire resistance, chemical substances resistance and oil resistance. It can instead of chlorinated rubber to produce adhesives and adhesive modifier. It can improve the adhesive property, antiseptic property, fire resistance, wearing resistance.
High Chlorinated Polyehtylene should be placed in shady and cool, ventilative and dry storehouse, and protect against damp.

Paint Material:
HCPE can be used as the paint material, it can be anti-corrosion for its chlorine. However, the temperature can not reach 56 degree, or the chlorine will be separated out, then the antiseptic property will decrease.
Application:
Due to the molecular structure of chlorinated rubber is order,saturation, low polarity, good chemical stability, so the anticorrosive paint with chlorinated rubber is drying quickly, strong adhesion, chemical media and anti moist. However, the production process of chlorinated rubber is serious environmental pollution, so we develop its replacement, the HCPE is the best one.
HCPE is aging resistance and chemical resistance, it is easy to resolve into organic solvent like arene, ester, ketone. It is good intermiscibility with most of the coating of inorganic pigments and organic pigments.
Replace chlorinated rubber with HCPE to produce the anti-corrosion coatings, we can get anti-corrosion paint is similar to the chlorinated rubber paint.
